AI Usage & Generated Content Policy
Effective Date: April 18, 2026
This policy explains how artificial intelligence is used in PinLaunchr (http://pinlaunchr.com), what you can expect from AI-generated output, who owns it, and your responsibilities when you use it. It is incorporated into our Terms of Service.
1. How PinLaunchr Uses AI
PinLaunchr uses third-party AI models to provide, among other features:
- Pin image generation — creating Pinterest-ready images from your URLs, prompts, styles, and templates;
- Title & description generation — writing Pinterest titles and descriptions from your content and prompt templates;
- Article-to-pin automation — turning articles or recipes into pins, titles, and descriptions;
- Prompt generation — drafting image prompts from your source content.
We call the output of these features "Generated Content." AI features consume credits as displayed in the Service.
2. Your Inputs
- Inputs you provide (URLs, article text, prompts, images, settings) are transmitted to third-party AI providers (e.g., OpenAI and image-model providers) solely to produce your requested output.
- Do not submit inputs you lack rights to use, confidential information you are not authorized to share, or personal data of others without a lawful basis.
- We do not use your private inputs to train our own models, and we use provider API tiers that limit training use where available. See our Privacy Policy.
3. Nature and Limitations of AI Output
- Variability. The same input can produce different outputs. Quality varies by model, prompt, and subject matter. Credit costs apply per completed generation regardless of subjective quality (see Refund Policy).
- Accuracy. Generated text may contain factual errors ("hallucinations"), and generated images may contain artifacts (e.g., distorted text or anatomy). Always review and edit before publishing.
- Similarity. Outputs may resemble outputs generated for other users or existing works. We do not guarantee uniqueness.
- No advice. Generated Content is not legal, medical, financial, or other professional advice.
4. Ownership and License
- As between you and PinLaunchr, you own the Generated Content you create, to the extent permitted by applicable law and the terms of our AI providers, and subject to the limited license you grant us in the Terms (to host, process, and deliver the content and publish it at your direction).
- Copyright caveat. The law on copyright protection for AI-generated works is unsettled in many jurisdictions; purely AI-generated material may not qualify for copyright protection (e.g., under current U.S. Copyright Office guidance). We make no warranty that Generated Content is protectable or enforceable as your intellectual property.
- We do not claim ownership of your inputs.
5. Your Responsibilities
When you use or publish Generated Content, you are solely responsible for ensuring that it:
- Does not infringe third-party rights (copyright, trademark, publicity, privacy);
- Complies with applicable laws, including consumer-protection and advertising laws (e.g., FTC disclosure requirements for endorsements and material claims);
- Complies with Pinterest's Terms of Service, Community Guidelines, and spam policies;
- Is reviewed for accuracy and appropriateness before publication;
- Is labeled as AI-generated where required by applicable law or platform policy.
6. Prohibited AI Uses
In addition to our Acceptable Use Policy, you may not use PinLaunchr's AI features to generate:
- Sexual content involving minors (zero tolerance; reported to authorities);
- Non-consensual intimate imagery or sexualized depictions of real people;
- Deceptive depictions of real people or events presented as authentic ("deepfakes") without clear disclosure and consent;
- Content designed to deceive, defraud, or spam;
- Hateful, harassing, or violent content targeting individuals or protected groups;
- Malware, phishing content, or instructions for serious harm;
- Content that violates the usage policies of our underlying AI providers.
We may use automated and manual review to detect abuse of AI features and may refuse, throttle, or block generations that violate this policy.
7. Third-Party Model Providers
Generated Content is produced by third-party models. Provider capabilities, availability, and pricing may change, and we may add, remove, or substitute providers/models at any time. Where a provider imposes additional usage terms, the in-product model selection will be governed by those terms to the extent applicable.
8. Feedback and Moderation
You can report problematic AI output to help@pinlaunchr.com. We may remove Generated Content that violates this policy and may suspend accounts for repeated or serious violations.
9. Changes
We may update this policy as AI capabilities and regulations evolve. Material changes will be announced per our Terms.
