Acceptable Use Policy

Effective Date: April 18, 2026

This Acceptable Use Policy ("AUP") governs use of the PinLaunchr website and services (the "Service") and is incorporated into our Terms of Service. By using the Service you agree to this AUP. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate it.

1. Prohibited Content

You may not upload, generate, schedule, or publish content that:

  • Infringes any copyright, trademark, patent, trade secret, privacy, or publicity right;
  • Is unlawful, fraudulent, defamatory, or deceptive (including fake reviews, scams, phishing, or impersonation);
  • Is hateful, harassing, threatening, or incites violence or discrimination against individuals or groups;
  • Is sexually explicit, sexualizes minors in any way (zero tolerance — reported to authorities), or depicts non-consensual sexual content;
  • Promotes self-harm, illegal drugs, weapons trafficking, or other illegal activities;
  • Contains malware, spyware, or malicious links;
  • Constitutes deliberate misinformation likely to cause harm (e.g., harmful medical or election misinformation);
  • Uses AI generation to create misleading depictions of real people without disclosure or consent ("deepfakes").

2. Prohibited Activities

You may not:

  • Spam or manipulate platforms. Use the Service to send spam, artificially inflate engagement, operate bot networks, or violate Pinterest's Terms of Service, Community Guidelines, or spam policies;
  • Abuse credits or limits. Circumvent, manipulate, or exploit credit metering, plan limits, free-tier allowances (including via multiple accounts), or billing;
  • Probe or break security. Attempt unauthorized access to the Service, other accounts, or our infrastructure; probe, scan, or test vulnerabilities without written authorization; interfere with or disrupt the Service (including DDoS);
  • Scrape or harvest. Scrape the Service, harvest data about other users, or use automated means to access the Service except via interfaces we provide;
  • Reverse engineer. Decompile, reverse engineer, or copy the Service or attempt to extract source code, except as permitted by law;
  • Resell or misrepresent. Resell, sublicense, or white-label the Service without our written agreement, or misrepresent your affiliation with PinLaunchr or Pinterest;
  • Overload AI systems. Use the Service to generate content at abusive volumes intended to disrupt our AI providers or to violate their usage policies;
  • Violate law. Use the Service in violation of any applicable law, including export controls, sanctions, consumer-protection, and marketing laws (e.g., FTC endorsement and disclosure rules).

3. Pinterest-Specific Rules

Because the Service publishes to Pinterest on your behalf, you must also:

  • Comply with Pinterest's Terms of Service, Community Guidelines, Developer Guidelines, and spam policies;
  • Only connect Pinterest accounts you own or are authorized to manage;
  • Not use scheduling/automation to flood Pinterest with repetitive, low-quality, or duplicative content;
  • Ensure destination links in your pins are accurate, relevant, and not cloaked or misleading.

Pinterest may independently enforce its own policies against your Pinterest account; PinLaunchr is not responsible for such enforcement.

4. Fair Use of Resources

We may apply reasonable technical limits (rate limits, concurrency limits, storage quotas) to protect Service stability. Excessive use that degrades the Service for others may be throttled with notice where practicable.

5. Reporting Abuse

To report content or behavior that violates this AUP, email contact@pinlaunchr.com with the subject "Abuse Report" and include links/screenshots and a description. For copyright complaints, use the process in our DMCA / Copyright Policy.

6. Enforcement

Depending on severity, we may: warn you; remove content; throttle or suspend features; suspend or terminate your account; and/or report to law enforcement. We may act without prior notice where necessary to protect the Service, other users, or third parties. Fees are not refunded for terminations due to AUP violations, except where required by law.
